WISHES MADE
Porch furniture is needed for several different areas. Employees who
take their breaks at the new garden outside the kitchen would like a
large table umbrella to shield them from the sun. Residents of Heins
Home need patio and yard furniture in the form of tables, large umbrellas
and chairs, and the newly-expanded pharmacy can use some chairs for
their entrance porch, for those waiting for prescriptions to be filled.
Musicians and entertainers of all ages are needed to share their talents,
on a volunteer basis, with Stratton House and Heins Home residents,
who greatly enjoy and appreciate music and entertainment. Piano players,
vocalists, those who play any instrument at all, comedians, dancers,
card sharks (only kidding). For more information, call Lorraine Gleason
at 365-7140 x. 227.
The new human resources director, Suzanne Hodgkins, desperately needs
her own fax so that personnel matters can remain confidential.
"If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." Unfortunately,
the cooks at Heins Home don.t have that option because the residents
depend on them for meals, but a new or used air conditioner would make
their work much more enjoyable during the summer months.
