TREE GROWS IN TOWNSHEND
The Valley Nature
Club donated a flowering cherry tree in memory of their deceased members,
including recent president Marcia Hallock. A ceremony will be held in
the spring in the Garden of Grace. Thanks to Adrienne Carroll of Jamaica
for coordinating the donation, and to Jacques Allembert of Williamsville
for donating his time to plant the tree.
Susan Lapinski
of West Springfield, MA donated tulip and narcissus bulbs in memory
of Alan Fitts, on behalf of Alan's sister, Betty Kimball.
Olallie Daylily
Farms donated many iris and daylily clumps, which were all planted this
past fall. The hillside outside the hospital and nursing home should
be in full bloom this spring.
