Archer Mayor On Board
Archer Mayor has recently joined the Otis Health Care Center Board.
A resident of Newfane for 18 years, Mayor is a member of the NewBrook
Fire Department, and is currently Newfane's town constable. His current
series of police novels feature Lieut. Joe Gunther of the Brattleboro,
VT police department. These books, which have been published in five
languages (if you count British!) And routinely gather high praise
from critics worldwide. His most recent mystery novel is Occam's Razor.
Prior to moving to Newfane, Mayor lived all over the U.S. and Europe. He has been a scholarly editor, researcher for TIME-LIFE books, a political advance man, theatre photographer, newspaper writer/editor, lab technician for Paris-Match magazine in Paris, and a medical illustrator. He is married to Ponnie Derby, and is the father of two children, Jonathon and Elizabeth. "Archer's already been hard at work on the Otis board," said Don Leigh, President. "We all especially appreciate his vast expertise in the area of rescue and EMT work." |
