 Newsletter - Summer 2000
Attendees at the Garden of Grace dedication on July 23rd listened attentively. A bronze plaque was recently installed to mark the entry
to "A Garden of Grace" at the Otis Health Care Center. A Newfane couple
and three generations of their family, donors of the garden, sent the
following letter to Grace Cottage:
"We wish to express their hope that
the garden will be enjoyed by the community as a place of peace, beauty,
and harmony. We are grateful for this opportunity and for Andrea Seaton's
efforts and guidance leading up to the Garden dedication."
Others who were thanked at the Garden
dedication included the volunteer garden committee: Lawrin Crispe, Ken
Hoffman, Joel Tidd, Nancy, Brian, and John Evans, and Bob Shreiner.
Bill Smith and the dietary staff outdid even themselves in catering
the event.
