Bonnie Johnson, Risk/Compliance/QI
It takes just one meeting with Bonnie to know that she's
the right person for a risk compliance/quality assurance
job. A broad smile and twinkling eyes, but very firm
and resolute -- that's Bonnie Johnson. A native of Minneapolis,
Bonnie received her B.S. in nursing in Chicago, and
her RN degree from Stanford University. "After I gave
some thought to what I really wanted to do, I decided
that a legal degree, combined with my nursing background,
would be the best combination for me in the healthcare
field," said Bonnie.
In 1983, Bonnie moved from California to Warren, Rhode
Island, from where she commuted to Massachusetts for
her work in Risk Management, most recently at Leahy
Clinic in Burlington, just outside of Boston. "My husband
and I had been looking for jobs in Vermont, and I saw
this job at Grace Cottage advertised in the Boston Globe,"
said Bonnie. "He's originally from Keene, New Hampshire,
so he knows this area, and was eager to get back. Now
I'm here, and he's back in Rhode Island, waiting for
our house to sell!" (Anyone looking for a home in Warren,
Rhode Island with an ocean view?).
