Employees of the Month
Mark Onyon; Deb Parker (l.) and her mom, Gail Coleman, middle
row; Alice Baker (l.) and Terry Pagach, front row. |
Employees of the Month for the most recent five
months have been selected by their co-workers, patients, residents,
and department managers at Otis Health Care. The following comments
appeared on their nomination forms:
- Mark Onyon, Maintenance (June): "Great model
to follow, always cheerful and cooperative, has a long fuse
and rarely gives the impression that he's at his wit's end!"
- Gail Coleman, LPN (July): "Kind, nurturing,
organized, thrifty, dedicated, comical. Is very nurturing, so
much so that the office staff calls her 'Momma'. Arrives at
work early to have everything prepared so day runs smoothly."
- Terry Pagach, LPN, Dr. Backus's office (August):
"Always has a pleasant, cheerful manner; she's kind, cooperative
and very understanding. Terry is focused on priority, quality,
commitment, loyalty, and is very discrete."
- Deb Parker, Business Office (September):
"Steps in wherever needed, knowledgeable and helpful concerning
all computer and insurance questions. Goes the extra mile."
- Alice Baker, Housekeeping (October):"Model
employee, unsung hero. She cares about our residents and about
her fellow employees...willingness to help others have a quality
life."
Each employee of the month receives 24 hours of
earned time, ten free meals at the hospital, a spotlight in Cottage
Door, his or her name on a plaque, and a cash gift.
