TOWNSHEND – Do you have questions about menopause? Are you interested in
learning about natural approaches to dealing with its effects?
Grace Cottage Hospital’s Dr. Lynn Madsen will lead a presentation on these topics
titled "Hot Flashes and the Bones."
This evening presentation will be held at the Grace
Cottage Hospital Community Wellness Center on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Thinning bones and hot flashes are part of ‘the change.’ Come for a presentation
and discussion to explore menopause and the following questions: What is it? Can this
be a metamorphosis? How does our relationship to the moon rhythms change? What can
women do to protect their bones?
Dr. Madsen will explore both conventional and holistic approaches to navigating this
potentially great adventure. “Bring your questions--that's where we will start,” says Dr.
Madsen.
Grace Cottage Hospital’s Community Wellness Center is located at 133 Grafton Rd.
(Rte. 35), in Townshend. Dr. Madsen’s presentation will be held in the Holt Conference
