| Thankful family members write:
“Dr. Backus, I am deeply grateful to you
and to the entire staff of Grace for the professionalism and
kindness shown towards my father, Larry Martin, during his
last illness. Dad was very precious to us and the knowledge
that he was receiving such good care was an enormous comfort
to the family at a very painful time.”
Tracy Martin, Brownington, VT
"Dr Backus, your ears must be burning. I've not been
shy with my praise for you and the hospital. I take considerable
comfort that [my husband] died in the best possible place
with the best possible care."
Molly Martin, Marlboro, VT
