VP Patient Care Services Jeanne Fortier

Jeanne Fortier, RN, has joined Grace Cottage Hospital/Otis Health Care Center as Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
A native of Massachusetts, Jeanne received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, and her MBA in Health Care Management from Boston University. She began her career as a staff nurse in critical care in Massachusetts and then moved to Bar Harbor, Maine, where she spent twenty years at Mount Desert Island Hospital, most recently as Vice President of Clinical Services.

Jeanne and her cat, Gray, have relocated to East Dummerston, VT. She enjoys hiking, canoeing, reading and spending time with her son, daughter, and three grandchildren, ages 6, 4 and 1.

“I’m excited to be at Grace Cottage,” said Jeanne. “I enjoy the family atmosphere and the more personal connection with patients and staff that comes with being part of a smaller hospital.”
