Wishes Fulfilled...
- Funds to purchase two intermittent suction machines were donated
by Stephen Pike in memory of his wife, Celia Theresa (Romano)
Pike. An anonymous donor contributed the funds to purchase another
intermittent suction machine, and a fourth was made possible by
Brendan Light, who also donated funds to purchase Life Support
manuals and one Automated External Defibrillator Training Machine.
- The hand weights needed by Heins Home and the Strong Living
program and a radio/CD player needed by the Strong Living program
were donated by an anonymous donor.
- Although we didn’t get around to asking, Grace Cottage
supporters are so generous that donations have already been sent
for the hanging baskets of annual flowers that are at hospital
entrances. Donations were received from Marie Martin, Joan McConnel,
Bud & Irene Wenker, Walter & Elaine Meyer, Mary Gyori,
and Elizabeth Walker.
- Sarah Messenger donated funds to help purchase an Integrated
Voice Response system at the Messenger Valley Pharmacy.
- In her memory, the family of Pauline Dickison donated funds
to purchase a Critikon blood pressure/oxygen machine for the Emergency
Room.
- Volunteer Ken Hoffman is keeping the Garden of Grace looking
absolutely magnificent, and the River Riders 4-H have agreed to
maintain the Hospice Garden this summer.
- A glider-rocker was purchased for the Hospice Suite in loving
memory of Annabelle Burnette, by her family and friends.
