Grand Rounds

Every Monday morning at 8 a.m., Grace Cottage health care providers and employees of Rescue, Inc. gather in Grace Cottage’s Bock EMS Training Center to attend one of the top ten telemedicine programs in the U.S. (as recognized by Telemedicine and Telehealth Networks magazine). The hour-long weekly lecture is provided by Fletcher Allen Health Care and the University of Vermont College of Medicine; attendees are eligible for Continuing Medical Education credit. The lectures are live, transmitted via video. Recent topics have included AIDS treatment and Advance Directives. A Q&A period enables Grace Cottage staff to ask questions of the lecturer at the end of the talk.
