Computer Training


Grace Cottage’s Organizational Development Director Tristam Johnson accepts a donation for Grace Cottage’s computer training program from Judi Ragnarsson and Samantha Wilson of Chittenden Bank in Newfane.

Grace Cottage recently received a donation from the Chittenden Bank Community Fund in the amount of $2,425.

The donation helps to fund a computer skills trainer working under an agreement between Vermont Commission on National and Community Service (VCNCS, an extension of the Americorps program) and Grace Cottage. Courses being taught to Grace Cottage employees include Windows, File Management, Word, Excel, and E-mail systems.

Instructor Holly Pietruszka and volunteer Reed Erven plan to expand the program to include community members in the future.
