Wishes Made...
- IV poles are needed for use at a hospital patient’s bedside
to deliver medication; there are currently several, but not enough
for all patients at all times. The cost is $200 each.
- The Rehab Department staff would like to be able to work with
a PedAlert Monitor, which “takes the guesswork out of treating
patients who have weight-bearing limitations.” Worn by patients
during therapy, this bootie prevents overstepping on a leg that
has weight restrictions. The cost is $500 for a large foot and
$462 for a small foot.
- Three additional Automated External Defibrillator Trainers are
needed to train staff on simulated use of the Automated External
Defibrillator. The cost is $315. While we’re asking, we
also need a real Automated External Defibrillator for $2,500.
