| CRYSTAL MANSFIELD JOINS GRACE COTTAGE REHAB DEPARTMENT
Occupational
Therapist Crystal Mansfield, who joined the Grace Cottage Rehabilitation
Department last fall, is offering a new service at Grace Cottage,
based on her extensive background in hand therapy.
“We use our hands for just about everything that we do,”
said Crystal. “When someone has experienced a hand injury,
or has arthritis, even if it’s the non-dominant hand that’s
involved, it can be very debilitating. I enjoy working with patients
to help them regain their hand function, so that they can better
use their hands for all the activities they enjoy.” A native
of Brattleboro, Mansfield graduated from Eastern Kentucky University
in 1988 with a degree in occupational therapy. She then worked as
an occupational therapist in New York and Michigan, before returning
to Vermont where she worked at Copley Hospital in Morrisville for
14 years, under the direction of three orthopedic surgeons. Welcome,
Crystal!
