AROUND AND ABOUT THE OTIS HEALTH CARE CENTER
SHORT TAKES
- Thanks to a grant from the Fanny Holt Ames
& Edna Louise Holt Fund, Grace Cottage’s
healthcare professionals will be conducting panel
discussions on various aspects of healthcare. Two
of the topics already presented include Osteoporosis
(What Have You Done For Your Bones Lately?),
and Men’s Health (Guys’ Night Out).
- The first annual Don Leigh Memorial Continuing
Medical Education Conference was held this past
winter in Grafton. Fifteen medical professionals
attended the half-day conference, which was sponsored
by Grace Cottage Hospital, University of
Vermont, The Old Tavern at Grafton (thanks to
The Windham Foundation) and David & Virginia
Pennock. Topics included Asthma Management, Infectious
Diseases in Children, and Management of Congestive
Heart Failure.
