| AUXILIARY HAPPENINGS
We’re looking forward to seeing you at Fair Day, on Saturday,
August 6, either as a volunteer or as a fairgoer! For volunteer
opportunities (and there are plenty!), call me at 365-4455.

This premium NCR Cash Register, which was machine-manufactured
in about 1910, will be up for bid at the Auction on Fair Day. Our
thanks to Mark Richards of The Richards Group, who, along with his
father, found the cash register when they purchased the former Barber’s
General Store building in Wilmington, VT, years ago. Mark & Liz
Richards also donated a Troy Carriage Works horse-drawn sleigh for
the Auction.
Three people stepped forward with donations of multiple pieces
of artwork, in response to our plea in the last issue of Cottage
Door. Perhaps you, too, have some special artwork that “hangs” in
your attic or storage closet because your taste in art has changed.
Give us a call; we’ll be happy to pick it up.
The White Elephant Booth, Book Booth and Clothing Booth are all
soliciting donations at this time. Tim McNulty and Larry Robinson
of Newfane have volunteered to use their brawn and their trucks
to pick up any Fair Day donations, so call me and I’ll coordinate
your schedule with theirs.
