The Annual Wood’s Tea Company Concert will be held on Saturday, August 13, at 7 p.m. on the Townshend Common. The concert is free; bring your own blanket or folding chair and prepare to enjoy the music and wit provided by Rusty, Howard, Mike and Chip. This is the fifth annual Wood’s Tea Company Concert in Townshend, initiated by Jack Benson to celebrate Grace Cottage and continued by his wife, Shirley, after his death. Each year, the crowd gets larger and the “tailgate” picnics get more elaborate. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Townshend Town Hall.
