Mitch Thomas, Houskeeping (March) - "Very polite and pleasant. Gives his staff ideas on how to do certain jobs in the best way possible. Knows what’s expected and does it without reminders. Doesn’t have to be asked twice for anything!" (Mitch has since left Grace Cottage, for a job at the Windham County Sheriff’s Department). Eloise Winot, Housekeeping (April)- "Eloise always goes ‘above and beyond’. For example, on her own time, she took the lab curtains home to iron out the wrinkles so that they would look nicer. She’s always very friendly with patients and staff. She always checks to make sure everything is neat and tidy." Eloise was promoted to Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor in May. Brian Stoning, Rehab Dept. (May)- "Fantastic with all his patients, always very pleasant. He is very professional. He uses all available resources to treat challenging patients, and has gone to patients’ homes after hours to check on how they are doing." Mayla Brown, Business Office (June)- "Mayla is such an inspiration. She is a very passionate, patient, understanding person. She has such a positive attitude about work and about what she has gone through on a daily basis since her motorcycle accident last August. She gives 110%, even when she has obstacles to overcome—such as how to carry folders with her crutches!" |
