AUXILIARY HAPPENINGS

Snow, sleet and freezing rain on February 6th couldn’t keep quite a few hardy Auxiliary members from enjoying this year’s Super Supper. There was plenty of great food and many prizes.

The Auxiliary will have a booth at the Wardsboro Fourth of July Parade and Street Fair (on July 3 this year), where 2004 Hospital Fair Day T-shirts will be sold. And, of course, we hope to see you at our annual Hospital Auxiliary Fair Day on Saturday, August 7. Volunteers and auction donations are still needed for Fair Day—call 365-4707 for info.

Fair Day Book Booth — Marilee Attley is this year’s Book Booth Chairperson. She is looking for “books that people will want to buy!” Books in good condition can be dropped off at the Grace Cottage Foundation office, 74 Grafton Road, during working hours (8-5, M-F) until July 25, or at Leland & Gray from July 26 until several days before Fair Day (volunteers need time to sort and organize!).

Fair Day Clothing Booth — Booth Chair Jackie Peck has been saving items from the Thrift Shop throughout the year, so no clothing donations are needed for the Fair this year. If you have clothing donations that you had intended for Fair Day the Valley Health Council Thrift Shop will be delighted to accept them!
