Shirley Robinson, who began working here in August, 1970, died at Grace Cottage Hospital in May, 2003. A selfless woman of great good cheer, Shirley gave constantly of herself to others. When she was named Employee of the Month in December, 2000, the co-worker who submitted her nomination form wrote that Shirley was " very nurturing and efficient -- she treats her patients as she would be treated." Shirley frequently went above and beyond the call of duty to help patients in any way that she possibly could, and her devotion to her co-workers and patients will long be remembered.
