Vermont is #1 (But We Already Knew That!)

Vermont is gaining quite a reputation. We've been ranked the healthiest state by United Health Foundation, the American Public Health Association, and the Partnership for Prevention. Ironically, we've also been named the best state in which to die. The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) gave Vermont a perfect score on patient access to palliative care programs (the only state in the country to receive this designation). Families whose loved ones have died at Grace Cottage would agree that Vermont excels in end-of-life care.
