Music to Our Ears

Grace Cottage patients received a melodious surprise when 29 members of the Brattleboro American Legion Band came to serenade and pay tribute to patient Dave Barnett this past fall. Dave was a member of the band (and the offshoot group "A Touch of Dixie") for many years; he's since moved from Putney, VT, to New Jersey to be with his grown children. Before Dave left Grace Cottage, he played "Sweet Lorraine" on his tenor sax for Activities Director Lorraine Gleason.
