CEO Steps Down

Dr. Shana Jones relinquished her position at Grace Cottage Hospital/Otis Health Care Center on January 16, after one year as Chief Executive Officer.

“We thank Dr. Jones for the contributions she has made to Grace Cottage during the past, very busy year,” said Roger Allbee, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. “Thanks to Dr. Jones, medical equipment was updated to include a CT Scan and digital X-ray, a five-year strategic plan was developed, Continuous Quality Improvement teams were implemented and the Community Wellness Program was expanded. Those are just a few of the changes made under her watch.”

The OHCC Board of Trustees appointed Chief Operating Officer Effie Chamberlin and Chief Financial Officer Stephen Brown as Interim Co-Administrators until a new CEO is hired. Chamberlin has been at Grace Cottage since 1961, and Brown has been at Grace Cottage since 1984.
