A NOTE FROM DR. BOB BACKUS

I will go half-time on May 1, 2007, signaling the transition from full- to half-time with a six-week vacation with my wife, beginning March 17th. When I return, I will be working full days Mondays and Tuesdays and a half-day on Wednesday. I will continue to care for my nursing home, rest home, and hospital patients. I will no longer be in the regular hospital and Emergency Room schedules, although I may be asked to help out with hospital and ER call when my colleagues find it necessary.
