Grace Cottage’s seventh annual Employee of the Year Award
has been presented to Cindy Sweeney, Executive Assistant to the
Administrator.
Prior to joining the Grace Cottage staff and moving to Townshend
in 2003, Cindy lived in Brattleboro for 28 years, where she worked
most recently for eight years at Landmark College. She has three
grown children and eight grandchildren, all of whom live in New
England. One of Cindy’s passions is singing, and she raised
her own funds to travel with a group called Highest Call in 1991-92;
they stayed with host families and gave concerts in 35 states and
two Canadian provinces. “It was an experience I’ll never
forget,” she said.
Cindy says that she loves her job at Grace Cottage because her
work involves a wide variety of tasks.“I work with a lot of
different departments. I’m very comfortable with the people
here, and with the mission of Grace Cottage,” she added.
