DAVID PLANTS JOINS FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
David
Plants has joined the Grace Cottage Foundation Board as a new Director
(the Foundation Board had numbered 14 members, but Foundation bylaws
allow 15 members). David brings to the board his 25 years of investment
experience at such firms as Morgan Stanley and Putnam.
Second homeowners in Jamaica, David and his wife,
Julie, and their three children live in Greenwich, CT,
but spend as much of their time in Vermont as possible.
The former president of the Solstice Homeowners
Association at Stratton, Plants has been involved in the
Stratton community for over 30 years. He is a member
of the Stratton Mountain Club, an active supporter of
the Stratton Foundation, and the founder of Powder Ski
Advisory. “We’ve had to use Grace Cottage’s Emergency
Room over the years,” said David, “more times than I’d
like to admit.” Presumably, these ER visits are due to the
family’s love of skiing, soccer and bicycling, not because
of their intense backgammon games!
