Spring 2005 |
| WISHES FULFILLED:
- The Polio Family Foundation of Grafton agreed
to help fund the purchase of a new EKG machine.
- Funds to purchase a snowblower were donated by Don
& Bunny Hazelton of Dummerston. Grace Cottage’s walkways
are now snow-free, and the Maintenance Department staff doesn’t
need to visit Dr. Vern Temple, chiropractor, now that they’ve
thrown their snowshovels away (just kidding—they keep the shovels
for fine-tuning!). At the request of David and Nancy Wyman,
the Panwy Foundation also contributed funds for a new snowblower,
but when they learned that it had already been taken care of,
they agreed to re-direct their donation for purchase of a new
ice machine for the kitchen. “Ice, snow — they’re closely related,”
laughed David Wyman. The dietary staff is extremely appreciative.
- Lisa’s Love Charitable Association donated
the funds to purchase three new comfortable chairs for the laboratory
waiting area.
- Ernest & Sheila Friedli contributed funds
for purchase of an otoscope, for practitioners to check ear canals.
- Per & Brite Alin funded the purchase of a
new pulse oximeter for the physicians’ offices.
- Donations to purchase a new ER bed were sent by Danielle
Nelson, the Newfane Congregational Church, Sarah Messenger & Paul
Weber, Suzanne & Barry Buxbaum.
- Weights for the Strong Living program were purchased with a
contribution from Sarah Messenger and Paul Weber
and an additional gift from Ken & Martha Hoffman.
- Dr. Marvin & Connie Wool donated funds to
purchase new chairs for the Heins Home dining room.
