Grace Cottage Hosts MedQuest Students

MedQuest students learn CPR at Grace Cottage Hospital.

Twenty high school students spent a week of their summer vacation learning about healthcare careers as participants in the Southern Vermont Area Health Education Center's (AHEC) MedQuest program; their first day was at Grace Cottage Hospital, followed by a day each at three other Vermont hospitals.

"Being at Grace Cottage was wonderful," said Desiree Mack of Wilmington, VT. "We were surprised at the number of services offered by such a small hospital, and it was obvious that the doctors there really cared about their patients."
