Primary Care & Chiropractics
Grace Cottage received national attention in a collaborative article, “Establishing a Chiropractic Service in a Rural Primary Health Care Facility” recently published in the Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine. Written by Grace Cottage’s Chiropractor Dr. Matt Davis, Family Nurse Practitioner Louise McDevitt, and Kimona Alin, MD, Ph.D., the article describes how chiropractic services and more traditional care are integrated, as well as how this coordination of services benefits both patients and practitioners. Patients are grateful to have more choices for their care in one place, and medical practitioners have more of a chance to become familiar with a chiropractor who is on site.
