| Wishes Made. . .
- Intravenous (IV) pole baskets are needed to attach to IV
poles so that nurses can easily carry IV bags and other items
associated with the IV to patient bedsides. Nine are needed
at $120 each.
- A junior walker is needed by the Rehab Department so
that therapists have it available when working with patients.
The walker costs $135.
- A heavy-duty digital thermometer is needed for the physicians’
practice. The cost is $225.
- Two wheelchairs with adjustable height and articulating
leg rests are needed for use by the Rehab Department, and
two others need to be replaced in Grace Cottage Family
Health for patients who need help entering or exiting the
building or getting to Lab and X-ray. The cost per wheelchair
is $250.
- Six Pulse oxymeters for the doctors’ offices are needed,
so that one oxymeter can be located in each patient exam
room. The cost of an oxymeter is $375.
- The Rehab therapists would like to purchase two rowing
machines so that patients are able to work on impact-free
full-body exercises. Each machine is $900.
- A Laryngoscope is needed for the Grace Cottage Emergency
Room, to more easily remove objects obstructing the
throat. The cost is $2,400.
