THRIFT SHOP: Thanks to Chuck French of Ward Graphics,
The Valley Health Council Thrift Shop has a new sandwich-board sign
by the side of Route 30, that says Thrift Shop Open Today. This
has helped to attact passers-by, who are always amazed at the variety
of merchandise and the low prices. Thank you, Chuck!
HOMEMAKERS: Is your housework getting to be too
much to handle? Would you like help at home? Did you know that the
Valley Health Council has mature, trained homemakers who can help
you maintain your quality of life at home? You do not need to have
a medical condition to receive help. Many of the people currently
using homemaker services have said that, if they had known that
they didn’t need to be ill in order to hire a homemaker, they would
have done so long ago. Don’t wait - now’s the time!
Call Elaine Scott at (802) 365-4910 to discuss how
the Valley Health Council homemakers may be
able to help you or a loved one.
GASOLINE WOES: With fuel prices so high, this
could be the perfect time to hop on the Bette Boop bus to get to
Brattleboro or Springfield for shopping trips. Call 365-4910 for
more information.
