Grace Cottage Hospital and the VT State Health Insurance Assistance Plan (SHIP) will sponsor a free informational session about the new Medicare prescription drug benefit (Medicare Part D) on Tuesday, November 8 in the Townshend Town Hall from 9 a.m. until noon. Vermont seniors and/or their caregivers are invited to attend the presentation by Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie and representatives from SHIP, the Council on Aging, and the Social Security Administration. A discussion will follow about the new Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, which will start on January 1, 2006.
