Sindy Hassig recently taught a free smoking cessation class at Grace Cottage. 16 participants began the class, 11 finished, and 10 have completely quit, to date. Sindy will be conducting a weekly “Townshend Tobacco-Free Support Group” on Thursday evenings from 5-6 p.m. at the EMS Training Center at Grace Cottage. Anyone who has quit smoking is invited to join the group at any time. The Otis Health Care Center became a smokefree campus on October 1st.

Hassig will be conducting another free smoking cessation class at Grace Cottage, beginning Thursday, December 1st, 5-6:30 p.m. and extending for six consecutive weeks. Call 365-9109 for more information or to enroll in the support group or in the class.
