Exemplary Employees Recognized

Employees of the Month (l. to r) Nancy Young, Conn Rose, and Pam Coburn.

During the past four months, the following employees were recognized for outstanding activities, accomplishment, and leadership beyond standard job requirements:

Nancy Young, Receptionist, Grace Cottage Family Practice (July) - Nancy was nominated by a patient who has observed her in action at Dr. Timothy Shafer’s office. “Always patient and polite, she listens well and puts people at ease… (Nancy is) easygoing and enthusiastic...full of smiles and gentle responses.” Nancy is a resident of Wardsboro.

Elaine Scott, Director, Valley Health Council (August) - “I have never seen her refuse to help a client, even if it means using her own time to do it. Elaine is always upbeat and enthusiastic. She seems to like a challenge and willingly pitches in to find a solution.” Elaine is a Wardsboro resident.

Pam Coburn, Physical Therapy Assistant (September) - “Pam is very cheerful and has an optimistic attitude. She is always willing to take on new challenges and learn new tasks. She is extremely courteous...she is a pleasure to work with.” Pam lives in Jamaica.

Conn Rose, LPN (October) - “Conn is always ready to pitch in and help, even when he’s ‘off the clock’. He has a great sense of humor, and patients always come first.” Conn resides in Wilmington.
