LENDING LIBRARY: To meet the medical needs of
residents in need of orthopedic aids, the Valley Health Council
has a “Loan Closet” of durable medical equipment, such
as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, commodes, toilet seat extenders
and shower chairs, which we lend out free of charge. This service
saves those in need of such equipment for only a short time from
having to purchase the item.
HOLIDAY RAFFLE: The Valley Health Council is planning
its third annual Holiday Raffle. Prizes for the raffle are donated
by local merchants, and tickets go on sale in November. The drawing
will be on Friday, December 19th. To purchase tickets, visit the
Valley Health Council office or the Messenger Valley Pharmacy.
