The rumors of my imminent retirement are greatly exaggerated… but
I keep hearing them, so here's the REAL story! When I reach age
65, on March 18, 2007, I will take a six-week vacation in order
to transition from full-time medical practice to half-time practice.
I plan to continue practicing, half-time, until I am 70, in 2012.
Of course, this is all contingent upon my good health and Grace
Cottage's need for my services. We are continuing to bring on new
MD's to pick up the load, as those of us who are getting older slow
down. Our new physicians are extremely well trained, mature, good-humored
people who plan on practicing here for a long time. We are fortunate
to have them.
