BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Lawrin Crispe, President - Delivered by Doctor Otis, Lawrin grew up in Newfane and now practices law in Brattleboro. He's been on the OHCC Board for twelve years.
Effie Chamberlin, Vice President - A resident of Townshend, Effie worked at the Otis Health Care Center for 39 years. When she retired in 2000, she was the Long-Term Care Administrator and the Assistant Administrator of the OHCC.
Deborah Boyle, Treasurer - A Commercial Banker at Chittenden Bank (formerly Vermont National) for twenty years, Deb lives in Brattleboro. Her son, Adam, was born at Grace Cottage.
Neil "Bucky" Pelsue, Secretary - Born, raised and schooled in the West River Valley, Bucky has a 62-year relationship with the Otis Family (he worked for Doc Otis during high school and college). He's currently an Extension Economist with the University of Vermont. He and his wife, Carleen Otis Pelsue, live in Newfane.
Robert Backus - A graduate of University of Vermont Medical School, Dr. Bob has worked at Grace Cottage since 1978. He lives in Wardsboro.
Dick Raymo - The owner of WW Building Supply in Newfane and Wilmington, Dick has been a member of the OHCC Board for over twenty years.
Greg Record - Greg works at WW Building Supply in Wilmington; he lives in Newfane with his wife, Deb, and their three children. All five of the Records were born at Grace Cottage Hospital.
Grigs Markham - The former owners of the Windham Hill Inn, Grigs and his wife, Pat, have recently relocated to Brattleboro, where Grigs is pursuing a degree in web-based technology.
Archer Mayor - An assistant medical examiner for the state of Vermont and a firefighter/EMT with the NewBrook Fire Department (in which capacities he's had a fifteen-year relationship with Grace Cottage), Archer is also Newfane Town Constable and a writer.
John Nopper - John and his wife farm in East Putney. His relationship with OHCC developed through his mother's involvement with elder care.
Kathy Ballantine - The newest member of the Board, Kathy is an insurance agent at Richards, Gates, Hoffman & Clay in Brattleboro; she is a life-long resident of West Townshend.
